We had a huge storm on Tuesday…huge…inches and inches of snow….school canceled…work canceled…mass chaos and confusion. Steve plowed this just two hours prior to this picture and there is at least and additional five inches that fell by this time. It’s pretty at first, grab a mug of hot chocolate and snuggle up on the couch. That’s cool for the first couple hours. Then I realized I needed things from the store, and all the sudden it wasn’t nearly as pretty. I got over it. The roads were finally plowed for the most part and by Wednesday it was okay. I’m starting to get a little nervous because I’m flying out Monday, and conditions like these won’t make it enjoyable to travel with a toddler…I’m not sure what conditions would make it nice with a toddler. Anyway I woke up this morning to this nice display, more snow. Which means more ice, more shoveling, and more salt. I’m really hoping Monday is good to me. If I wasn’t traveling I think I’d be able to enjoy it a little more, besides, who wouldn’t love a fresh blanket of snow for the Christmas season!
