We had beautiful weather on Christmas Eve, in fact my brothers went out and played tennis and both said they still got warm. The girls went out shopping that morning, but not because we had to, we wanted to. We were all leaving the next day (Christmas) so it was our last excursion together. I was amazed to see how many guys were out shopping. I felt like we needed to put a sign on our forehead which read, “We’ve completed our Christmas shopping, we’re recreational shopping” just to clear up any confusion that we might have waited until the last minute…I start Christmas shopping in July, there’s no way I’m a last minute shopper! We had a nice dinner…songs…Christmas PJs…making cookies for santa…and leaving food (oats) for the reindeer. Kyler was the perfect age for all of it, I got excited just watching him get excited.
