When we went to the Elegant Farmer a couple weeks ago, we intended on picking out our pumpkins, but we never made it that far in the farm. So the following week after the zoo we went to a pumpkin farm. Someone needed to stay with Hunter, so Steve volunteered to stay back and “teach Hunter the rules of football”. When Hallie, my mom, and I left, Steve and Hunter were both asleep on the couch…which is rule #1 of Saturday football watching!! (Never be afraid to fall asleep, and take advantage of DVR to rewind it later!)
We located all the best shaped pumpkins in our opinion and put them by the car. We then narrowed it down with Hallie’s help to the lucky three pumpkins to go home with us.
Pumpkin patches are the greatest.
Hey, I need your current email address so I can send you an invite to our blog…soon to be private.
Oh my gosh, that first picture is simply fantastic. Love that lighting. Man I wish we could get pumpkins this early. If we got one today it would be all moldy by tomorrow. The sorrows of living in AZ…
I need more pics of Hunter!
what glorious pumpkins. i love the fall. hallie looks like she fits right in!
So cute…..you guys are just so darn cute. I love all the pictures. Your mom's hair looks great, darker or something. You two look so much alike. I hear you with the whole mom thing. I feel like that with my mom. When she's here I can't decide if I'm a daughter or a wife and it's just easier being the daughter and letting my mom do everything. It's great. And then she leaves and its back to making dinner again.
Did you go to the pet blessing? I would have, heck I would have brought a gold fish. Actually that is crazy. That will be the next thing these crazy people put on the ballot here in CA. Pet Marriages. AnywAy, you look great and I hope you are able to get enough rest…it could be worse, my sister-in-law just had twins! Enough said.
Good luck with everything. I miss you and hope to see you sometime soon, maybe.
Love,
Chris
I love your pumpkins! You are such a crafty-creative little mamma. Anyways, it was so nice seeing you guys and meeting little Hunter. Holding him made me miss having a little baby!
