Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry is a must see. We were reluctant to take our kids because we weren’t sure if it was kid friendly, plus with the drive down to Chicago it would make for a long day. Neither Steve, nor myself does well with whiney, tired children. But we had a reciprocal membership pass that we wanted to take advantage of.
It was perfect for Hallie. She was able to participate in most all of the interactive displays and really had a good time. She particularly liked a dance exhibit that would outline your body as you danced. she would’ve probably stayed there all afternoon if she could!
Hunter on the other hand was a little young, but still was able to participate in some things. We wore him out pretty well! (Please notice the nice drool he has going for him!)
Robbins Family said… I was just there last week!! We should have coordinated our trips. At least you had Steve with you, I ventured to Chicago to go to the museum by myself with 3 boys. Ha it was an adventure. My boys really liked that wall too… almost as much as my brother. My brother and his wife were also there with my nephew (that's why we went) and I wish I could say that they were helpful 🙂 It was a bit stressful to say the least. Miss you! Have you made any new friends this year?
Okay I think your comment moderator is having issues, I had to click the handicap icon to get it to let me post…. maybe it's just me 😉
