Hallie has a birthday just around the corner, just days after the baby is born. Since it’s an even year for her (8 years old) she got to have a friend party and we threw it a little early just so it’s not lost in the newborn nonsense.
Although there were a lot of ideas circulated – Hallie chose to have a Halloween themed party; we made it a Halloween carnival birthday party. 
We used washi tape to label the cups and found the fun straws at Joanns.
Caramel apples to send home with each kid.
Donuts tied with bakers twine for one of the party games.
I found Halloween Boogo (bingo) at Target and it fit the theme perfectly.

Of course, as long as we can throw it in AZ! I love the planning of a party and my husband makes the perfect director/MC once all the kids get there. Sometimes I want to throw one each year for every kid and then I'm reminded of just how much work they are.
