Hallie was baptized two weeks ago and she was glowing on her special day. She was so ready – she had been to her friend’s baptism just two weeks prior and couldn’t wait to have her turn.
After the baptism, she was given the gift of the Holy Ghost with loved ones surrounding her. 
Both her grandma’s (my mom and Steve’s mom) shared their thoughts and feelings about baptism/Holy Ghost and it was so sweet to hear their thoughts and testimony. I was reminded again just how many people love and support us and our children – it takes a village to raise a child and I’m so grateful for the people in our village.
We gathered at our house afterwards to celebrate with food. The weather was perfect and we sat outside into the evening enjoying soup and rolls and the company of friends and family.
What a truly beautiful and special day. Brought tears to my eyes seeing these photos! It doesn't seem that long ago we were in your Rexburg Condo whispering, as baby Hallie's bedtime routine was beginning. We wish we were closer so we could support you on days such as these. You both are fantastic parents and raising wonderful children. We love you!
OH I love the idea of taking pictures of them in their white dresses!! Also, how in the world did you do the HuGE lit up 8? It's awesome!! Love catching up with the goings-on of your beautiful family on here!
I'm sorry if this seems weird, but I saw your daughter's picture on pinterest…. and love her dress. I'm having a hard time finding a baptism dress (for my soon to be 8 yr old) that isn't either really plain or really wedding -y. Can you tell me where you got it? And her little coverup?? She is beautiful! :>

We found it at Nordstrom Last Chance which is a final sale clearance sale only in Phoenix. But I would have to believe that Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack would have it as well.
My daughter actually found a beautiful one for my grand daughter on Amazon for about 30. Try there.
