Catch up on the anniversary fun in part one, two and three. As well as our shirt design here.
Saturday night we had the culminating event of the anniversary weekend. Because 61 people is a lot to feed, we brought food in from a local restaurant. Shawni printed out fun facts from their marriage and displayed them on the tables.
We had a fun photo booth set up and hired a photographer to take the pictures. That will be another post for another day, but I love this sibling shot.
After dinner we listened to a special musical number by all the grandchildren.
Steve’s parents both took some time to talk about their relationship and how they first started dating. There were also a couple siblings (Steve included) that took some time to talk about their parents and memories.
By this point in the evening we had some tired kids. They had late nights several nights in a row and one kid in particular was done. Unfortunately, the night was far from over and we worked to keep him happy the rest of the night. Ironically enough hours later as we gathered kids to go home, many of his older cousins were asleep on the couch and there Mr. B was running circles around them as hyper as can be!
We ended the night with a dance party – and not one picture. It was dark – the music was loud – and everyone had glowsticks. This family loves to dance and it’s always a good time.
Wow. What a great family and great party!
