He’s 14 months today and wouldn’t you know – we still can’t convince this kid to walk. He’s the expert crawler at this point. He crawls outside over pavers, over asphalt, over landscape rock – but cries when he hits grass; his knees and the top of his feet are often black . He cruises around the house with a walker but hasn’t even attempted to take a step in-between items or to even stand on his own.

No matter what we seem to try, he’s content with crawling around. I know he’ll get to walking eventually but he’s killing me. We’ve enjoyed the 7 month crawling phase – we’re ready to move on!

With all his crawling – he’s become a little more independent and a little less whiny. He doesn’t cry every time I leave the room which is a much needed change. He’s got lots of little teeth and is about ready for his second haircut. He loves to dance and the Trolls soundtrack happens to be his choice of music. He looks more and more like Hunter every day. And we all argue as to who is going to get him out of his crib because…it’s just too cute. Although when Hunter tries to get him out Briggs usually plays with him and sits in the farthest corner of the crib – beyond Hunter’s reach. And so the teasing begins!
