I think Hallie more than anyone in the family was looking forward to this three day weekend with one less day of homework for the week. She’s still adjusting to the junior high homework load and this weekend was just the break she needed.
The weather has dropped to double digits and although it’s only going to stay like that for three days, it gives us hope of slightly cooler weather in the not so distant future! Not to mention the kids are starting to spend more time outside without being in their swimsuits which means fall is approaching!
