We took the circus to the circus!

Circus

I had never been to a circus and none of our kids had been either. In all honesty – I didn’t even know they still had a traveling circus with elephants and tigers – I thought they did away with those a couple years ago. But the movie The Greatest Showman has peaked an interest in the circus in just about everyone and we knew our kids would love it.  It did not disappoint – everyone was entertained – even the adults.

Circus animal crackers at the circus – I had no clue this box had been discontinued. I picked them up a while back and figured this was the perfect place to enjoy them. A lady approached us and asked us where we found them – she had been trying to find them and couldn’t find them anywhere. Briggs has no clue it’s a vintage box of crackers – but he sure did enjoy them. This face…bump on his noggin, dirt on his chin, bed head – happy little boy.

Circus

When I read that this circus was over two hours long – I couldn’t imagine we would stay for the whole thing. But we found ourselves there until the very end and even then the kids could’ve stayed longer to watch the elephants give rides. They give away one girls and one boys bike each night and as luck would have it – one of the kids in our group won the boys bike. I suppose if you take enough kids to the circus, your chances of someone in your group winning the bike significantly increases. There were smiles all around.
