School is officially out and we’ve got final report cards to prove it.
I’m not sure who grew up the most this year but everyone is looking a little older. Some are missing additional teeth. And some are counting down the days until braces are off. Judging from the first day of school pictures, everyone is in desperate need of haircuts!! Hunter has been trying to keep his hair out of his face for over a month now and I just never made time to cut it. He’s long past due!
Tennis shoes are officially trashed and we’re lucky they made it to the end of the school year (Thank you adidas superstar shoes for passing the 2nd grader test. He wore those shoes every day the whole school year. The rubber toe was a lifesaver this year!) Lunch boxes are officially disgusting and possibly growing something. And we were down to the final pages in their spiral bound notebooks.
It’s a good thing the year is done. We are sleeping in tomorrow!
