The school hosted a fundraiser color run and now my kids think this should be an every day PE activity! They had so much fun and they came out so colorful!
They ran loops around the school field and parents squirted them with water, threw colored chalk at them and sprayed them with silly string.
Seeing Steve’s reaction, it might have been more fun for the parents!
Side note: Props to our PTO – I know a lot of schools that pay a company to come in and host this event and take most of the money. Instead, our PTO ordered the chalk and squirt guns and got parent volunteers to run the event. It was a lot of work for them but all the money stayed at the school! As far as fundraisers go – let me donate to a color run all year long just don’t send something home that my kids have to sell to our neighbors!
