Before I move forward with posting santa hats and gingerbread houses, I figured I should probably catch up on a few straggling Thanksgiving pictures.

We had a friend drop off a cookie kit – everything we needed to make “turkey” cookies and my kids loved it. It was such a simple act of kindness but it made for such a fun evening while I was finishing up prepping food for Thanksgiving.

Briggs had his Thanksgiving feast at preschool where he dressed the part (the teacher makes them all their own outfit!)

Another day he came home dressed as turkey – cutest little turkey I’ve every seen…next to my other three boys who came home from preschool dressed in shockingly similar attire when they were that age.

And for the life that didn’t get photographed over Thanksgiving break:
We got flu shots
We took family photos for our Christmas card
We watched movies…and football
We made food for our feast
We ran our little turkey trot
We feasted
We played tennis and tennis and some more tennis
We played pickle ball
We put up Christmas decorations
We visited with friends (from out of town) at a soccer tournament game
We shopped online

And we gave thanks for so many things in our lives that we are grateful for right now.
