There was a time recently when Hallie had a plane ticket booked out of the country…but she didn’t know it. We convinced her that she needed a passport for another reason which allowed us to apply for one without any suspicion.
Unfortunately, the trip we had planned didn’t work out – which is just how life is sometimes. And as luck would have it, her passport showed up just a week after we found out she didn’t need it anymore. We broke the news to her recently – about the greatest trip she didn’t go on. 🙁
She was a good sport about it all and was surprised at just how well we were able to keep it a secret.
That passport is good for 5 years – here’s to hoping it doesn’t go to waste!
