The sun is setting on our wonderful summer. Tomorrow is our last official day of summer and school starts Thursday!
We have lived this summer to its fullest and squeezed out all the fun and connection we could manage. It was so good. As we were driving home from soccer tonight, Cannon was asking what was on the schedule for tomorrow. I had some laundry in mind, prep the backpacks and definitely getting the kids to bed early. That is not what he was hoping for.
I asked what he had in mind. He was hoping to host friends. 🙂 As if the whole summer hasn’t been a non-stop party with ridiculously late bedtimes. But it is the last day before school starts…chances are, we’ll have a house full tomorrow.
