I don’t think there is any way around it – this year is sure to see a lot of “senior” posts. I try my hardest to sprinkle in a little of every kid and their activities on this blog but the truth is Hallie is a senior and there is so much to document to go along with that.
Tonight we experienced our first “Senior Night” of the year. Every sport celebrates the seniors on their last home competition and tonight was swim. Hallie has so many friends who swim including two of her very best friends so we couldn’t miss being there to support them. (Although she may or may not be counting down the days until swim season is done so she can get her tennis doubles partner back!)

I was sitting in the stands with a group of senior girls watching the events and I heard the sentiment so many times, “This is so sad, I can’t believe it’s almost over! We’re seniors.”
All they know is high school and it’s been such a great experience, they can’t imagine life getting any better than this. Sure, some chapters may be closing but they’ve got books upon books to open and they have so much to look forward to.
