After our family reunion, I dropped Hunter and Bennett off at BYU soccer camp for the week – a week they look forward to all year long. We started going to this camp years ago for Hallie’s tennis and now we’ve moved on to soccer – it was a little weird not dropping Hallie off!
With it being Hunter’s 4th year and Bennett’s 2nd year, they know the ropes and what to expect. In fact, they were so comfortable, I only talked to Hunter once and never heard from Bennett. They were surrounded by friends and teammates and they were taken care of.

We weren’t dropping Hallie off, but she came with us to drop the boys off and then spent the day at BYU with one of her best friends and teammate. Last year they were at tennis camp together…

and this year Sierra is a student!

At the end of the week I got to see their smiling faces and watch them play.

After a long day of playing and the awards ceremony, we put those smelly bodies immediately in the car and made the 10 hour drive home. I was hopeful Hunter would help me drive but I think his body hit a wall and he crashed in the passenger seat. He was in no position to drive.

They both had rave reviews for the week. The training was fun but exhausting. And the true gem of the week was staying in the dorms with their friends and teammates, making new friends and being independent.
