Hunter looked ridiculous as he walked out the door for school the other morning. He was rushing around grabbing things, packing his lunch, filling his water bottle. And then I saw him standing at the island strategically grabbing bags. He put his school book bag on his right shoulder. He then slung his tennis bag (for 7th hour tennis) and his soccer bag, for his game that evening on the same shoulder as his school bag. He then grabbed his large water jug and an additional bag of supplies he needed for the day and rushed out the door…barely fitting through the door.
You’d think between his classes, school sport and school PE class he would be given a locker of some sort, especially since he’s not able to park on campus…But instead, he gets to carry his gear throughout the day and then complains his back hurts when he gets home. The life of a current high schooler.
