Briggs came home from school today expecting to quickly do his homework and then head out to find friends. But instead I informed him he was joining me and Cannon at Hunter’s soccer game. He was less than thrilled. He had gone to Hunter’s game on Saturday morning and then we had stayed to watch the game after Hunter’s honoring the seniors. Watching another game of Hunter’s was not high on his priority list.

He’s usually pretty compliant – but he would much rather play with friends.

So here’s a shoutout to the youngest.

The one who ends up having more opportunities than any of his siblings, but also runs the disadvantage of sitting in the stands.

The one who is confident in his plans – but we have other plans.

The one who isn’t quite old enough to be at home by himself, but thinks he’s much older than he is.

The youngest is a great life but sometimes its hard to see that.
